Novel Magnesium Based Materials: Are They Reliable Drone Construction Materials? A Mini Review

نویسندگان

چکیده

Novel magnesium-based materials are ideal candidates for use in future aviation vehicles because they extremely light and can therefore significantly increase the range of these vehicles. They show very good castability, easy to machine be shaped into profiles or forgings used as components next generation aerial vehicle construction. In case a large number identical components, high-pressure die casting magnesium alloys is clearly superior aluminum alloys. This due lower solubility iron thus tool/casting life longer. addition, filling times approximately 30% shorter. density: 50% heavier than alloys, which significant disadvantage especially aerospace industry. There cost-effective novel besides AZ91 AM50/60 such DieMag633 MRI230D, specific strength at room elevated temperatures. wrought choice smaller, typical representative AZ31, but some new based on Mg-Zn-Ca currently being developed improved formability. However, susceptible environmental influences, eliminated by suitable coatings. corrosion protection concepts classical under development might may need adaption construction constraints dependent exposure scenarios. Within this mini-review paradigm change utilization drone material briefly introduced fields applications within next-generation vehicles, manned unmanned, discussed. Possible research topics will addressed.

Alcohol Mediated Liquefaction of Lignocellulosic Materials: A Mini Review

Acid catalysed liquefaction of lignocellulosic materials in the presence of various alcohols is an efficient way to prepare alkoxy-glycosides and levulinic esters. In this mini review, the mechanism of the liquefaction process and the applications of liquefied products, such as upgrading into polyurethane and phenolic resol resin, are highlighted. INTRODUCTION The coming decades will be marked ...

Mucoadhesion and mucosa-mimetic materials--A mini-review.

Mucoadhesion describes an attractive interaction between dosage form and mucosal membrane. The evaluation of mucoadhesive excipients often requires the use of ex vivo mucosal tissues taken from laboratory animals. These can be difficult to source, highly heterogeneous, and require the use of animal products. Thus, from both a user-convenience and ethical point-of-view, it is desirable to produc...

Creating a healthy home: environmental building materials--what are they? Where are they?

During the 1970s the building industry witnessed a focus on energy-conserving building materials sparked by oil-price increases; during the 1980s attention to building materials that reduced or omitted pollutants became important as a result of the "Sick Building Syndrome" or indoor air pollution. Now, in the 1990s, we are engaged with a more comprehensive definition of environmental materials ...

How Reliable Are They?

We studied the frequency of malfunction, variability in rate of nebulization, and effect of this variability on aerosol particle size of eight disposable jet nebulizer models produced by six manufacturers. Four of eight models showed visual signs of malfunction, including spraying of large, individually visible droplets, leaking of nebulizer solution, and air leaks that completely prevented neb...
